Rumour: Retro Studios Working on 'Wii 2' Title

Retro Studios are rumoured to be working on a title that "everyone wants" for the rumoured Wii successor.

The Wii successor rumours keep coming in thick and fast and the newest rumour is that Retro Studios, the development studio behind the Metroid Prime trilogy and Donkey Kong Country Returns, is working on a game for the new console.

According to Paul Gale Network Retro Studios has been given a development kit for the still unconfirmed Wii successor and are working on a brand new title. Allegedly when asked what they were working on they simply stated something that "everyone wants them to do".

Whatever that could mean is as clear as rumours ever get. Fans have also noted that a number of job for the company recently appeared on Gamasutra, leading to speculation that they are working on a new title. E3 should hopefully sort out all these rumours once and for all but until then what would you like Retro Studios to be working on; a new title or perhaps reviving one of Nintendo's popular franchises?
