Rumour: Sega To Bring Classic Games To Rev?

Reggie dropped a tantalizing hint on Sega's interest in Revolution backwards compatibility...
Amidst the Mario Kart madness of Reggie's meetup in Bellevue, Washington this past Monday were some juicy new tidbits. Some gamers lucky enough to race Reggie himself were privy to some choice comments regarding Sega and their interest in Revolution's highly-touted backwards compatibility. Allegedly, Fils-Aime shared that Sega was "intrigued" by the feature, though it should be pointed out that he stopped short of confirming support. Whether this would entail all classic arcade, Master System and Genesis/Megadrive games is unknown. It would be an easy source of revenue for Sega however, so such an idea certainly would make a good amount of sense.
Reggie also reportedly hinted that the "controller shell" that would turn the Rev-mote into a classically styled controller would indeed be largely patterned off the popular Wavebird design (as many have speculated).
Again, these comments are the source of hearsay generated from Reggie's public appearance at a DS gaming event this past Monday. While it can't be considered concrete (yet), both comments are certainly very plausible (and particularly in the case of the Sega rumour, quite awesome).
