Could Mario be thrust back into orbit for another intergalactic adventure within just four months?

Nintendo have been fairly quiet on the Super Mario Galaxy 2 front since its spectacular reveal back at the 2009 E3 Expo, but all the signs are pointing to a media blowout very, very soon.

Dutch gaming site wiids.nl claim to have it on good authority that Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario's second adventure into the cosmos and the follow-up to one of gaming's finest moments, could be set to launch worldwide as early as June 2010.

NGamer Magazine have also been hinting at new developments in regards to Mario's next adventure, with a teaser for their next issue promising a hands-on preview of Super Mario Galaxy 2.
