Tales of Symphonia:Dawn of the New World

Rumour: Tales Of Vesperia Heading To Wii?

Could a new version of Namco's Tales of Vesperia be making a stop-off on Wii?

Having been originally released on Xbox 360, followed by a port to PS3, reports suggest that Namco's hit RPG Tales of Vesperia may be heading for.

Rikiya Koyama - one of the voice actors for the game - has written on his blog that the game will be making an appearance on Wii. He did not specify whether this would be a direct port, or some sort of sequel-cum-spin-off, in the vein of Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

Following the success of the title, it's not too wild to guess that the game may show up on Wii in some form, with the Tales series having enjoyed blossoming popularity on Nintendo platforms. Namco are currently developing the next main title in the series for Wii, in the form of Tales of Graces.

Updated, 9/11: Koyama has now updated his blog revealing he made a mistake and meant Tales of Graces when he was wrote Vesperia. Koyama hs apologised for getting anyone's hopes up.

Dawn of the New World releases in Europe later this month. No Western plans have yet been announced for Graces.
