A Nintendo UK rep reportedly indicates Mistwalker's The Last Story is indeed heading for Europe...

At the London MCM Expo, Nintendo has been on the scene with a modest collection of the hottest Wii and 3DS titles. According to JRPG Tribe, a Nintendo UK rep, upon being asked about The Last Story, confirmed that European gamers could expect to see the Wii RPG some time in the future.

Nintendo has been notoriously quiet on the subject of Mistwalker's latest epic, produced and directed by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi. With the plot-heavy game being such a large localisation task, it seemed the company has not been willing to talk about it until it had something concrete to announce.

Obviously, we can't take this report as solid confirmation of anything. With E3 around the corner though, we can at least half-expect Nintendo to make an official comment about the game's prospects very soon.
