Online retailers across the US have started taking pre-orders for the DS. Want to know what they reckon will be the price and date?

EB Games and GameStop, two major US retailers, have listed the DS release date as November 29th, with $200 as the price tag. Industry heavyweight Wal-Mart has listed it as November 30th, with the price again at just under $200.

GameStop also have Animal Crossing, Egg Monster Hero, Final Fantasy Chronicles and Metroid Prime: Hunters (as well as others) scheduled for December 7th, making them possible launch titles for the DS.

While on the face of it, these dates and prices seem like guesswork, their consistency suggests that there is some kind of source to their dates - but of course, Nintendo of America have so far refused to comment.
