Rumour: VC Set For Surprise Alien Crush

This coming Monday Hudson is planning to release a previously unannounced TurboGrafx title (likely Alien Crush) for the Virtual Console.
In a post on his company's website forum, a Hudson employee teased gamers with:
Stay tuned! This upcoming Monday Dec 11th, there will be a new TurboGrafx game coming to your Virtual Console on the Nintendo Wii! It's a new one, which has not been announced yet. Best of all, it's one of the most requested games that fans want. Oooohh! Tasty!
Which one is it?
If you guess right, you get a chance to win a free Fatal Fury hat!
Here's a tip: All brain, no skull. All eyes, no nose.
The game is very likely a reference to the cover art of Alien Crush, an alien-themed pinball game that is considered one of the TurboGrafx's cult gems. (Splatterhouse has also been a popular guess.)
Regardless what the game ends up being (and ostensibly, this is for American Wiis currently), this surprise VC release may hold serious ramifications regarding Nintendo's download service. Can we expect surprise VC releases regularly? If so, what titles might we be treated to? Will the release schedule perhaps not be so stringent? Is Nintendo proving extremely flexible with its partners in its VC release planning? Questions continue to abound regarding the VC as Nintendo explores this new business model, but at least we can look forward to some pleasant surprises in the coming months.
