Fans of the Rune Factory series will be pleased to hear that Rune Factory 4 will be released on the Nintendo 3DS in Europe during Spring 2014.

The new title is the first one in the series to be published on the Nintendo 3DS and will once again allow gamers to simulate life in a fantasy environment.

Playing as a Prince or Princess in the Kingdom of Norad, players must work hard to bring prosperity back to the picturesque town of Selphia.

Gamers must tend to their farm and find romance within the town, before setting off to defeat foes in the surrounding dungeons.  The unique mix of life simulation and JRPG has gained the series many fans, and now 3DS owners will be able to join in on the fun.

Rune Factory 4 will feature hundreds of crops, items and weapons, making it the biggest game in the series so far.  When it was released in Japan, Rune Factory 4 became the fastest selling game of the series to date.  Early next year, European gamers will be able to join the fun.
