Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has returned to his regular duties as CEO following an illness that caused him to miss E3 earlier this year.
The company confirmed that Iwata-san had undergone surgery in June to remove a growth in his bile duct.
But the chief has recovered enough to return to a full working schedule, and was back to drop bombs as he confirmed that Nintendo beat analyst expectations to post a healthy profit in the latest business quarter.
