Scorpion King was a character from The Mummy Returns, played by the popular wrestler the Rock. On April 19th, a movie will come out in the US based on Scorpion King.
Universal Interactive, Inc. confirmed today what we already reported in October: they will publish two games based on this movie.
The first one, The Scorpion King: Sword Of Osiris will be a 3rd-person action game for the GBA, and will come out in the second quarter of this year. This GBA title will be developed by WayForward Technologies.
The second one will be for GameCube, and this will be a 3D combat-adventure. The game is the story of the future Scorpion King's first adventure, a long and arduous quest to thwart an evil lord's diabolical plan to raise a supernatural army of beast-warriors to conquer the world. Players will wield multiple attack combinations against their enemies as they travel through ancient Egyptian environments.
Point of View, Inc. developes the GameCube version.
What's best, is that Universal Ineractive didn't say anything about other systems, which means this game will be a Nintendo exclusive.
