The fifth game in the Shantae series will see the light on Switch on May 28. Shantae and the Seven Sirens, the newest release in WayForward's popular platform series finally gets a console and PC release date.

Users of Apple Arcade could already enjoy the first part of the game, and the second part is now available for them. When the game launches on the Switch it will be the full version instead of two parts.

Along with the release date a new trailer is shown showing off some more of the game, including new transformations for the hip-shaking genie. You can watch it via the embedded tweet below.

Limited Run Games announced they will provide the physical version of the game. There will be a standard edition and a collector's edition fro some platforms (so it is not yet confirmed the Switch will get both versions). More details about the physical release will be shared later.
