Sin & Punishment 2, amiibo Touch & Play head to the eShop

This Thursday will see the launch of yet another free-to-play title from Nintendo, although this one is quite unique.
Amiibo Touch & Play will allow you to leverage any amiibo figures you have to dive in to some of Nintendo's most famous classics. Touch an amiibo on the GamePad and you will unlock a random NES or SNES title to enjoy in a three-minute burst. It's not dissimilar to the 'Masterpiece' feature in Super Smash Bros., although you'll be able to unlock ten different scenes from your assigned game. The more amiibo you have, the more games you can try, and each one is guaranteed to be different.
Also releasing this week is Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Skies; Treasure's excellent Wii sequel to the N64 cult classic. It will be available for a reduced €14.99 / £13.49 for one week only.
