Site: New reporter

It's really exciting for me to join such an admired gaming site that has been the envy of my collegues for many years now. I go by the name of Xavier, and have been working for several websites and magazines for some time in my far from illustrious career.
I applied for the job left vacant by Mike Thornton yesterday after being contacted by Tim. Tim and I worked together on a few projects way back, so it feels good to be working with a team I am slightly familiar with. It's going to be hard filling the shoes of Mr T but I'm sure I can provide a more than satisfactory job.
Mike left the site last week to do some behind-the-scenes work at high-profile games magazine Edge. He told me to pass on his thanks for the support he received in the job from readers; and gives me full backing on what he sees as the continuation of 'supreme reporting'. Whatever that means.
A little about me: I was born in Paris on Christmas Day 1985, hence the name Xavier. I lived there until I was seven, then moved to London. I now reside in Camden where the lifestyle is so laid back it suits me perfectly. I run a small games shop in the capital and work for a few non-games magazines alongside funding a drug-racket. Ignore last comment.
I'll begin reporting tomorrow and hope to hear from some of you guys soon. My email is simply: [email protected], so if you've got something to say point it in that direction. Au revoir!
