Site News: N-Europe Turns 14

Fourteen years ago N-Europe was born. The site was the vision of two Dutch teenaged friends who wished to express their passion for Nintendo and it has gone through a number of iterations from it's N64 origins back in 1998.
Today we celebrate the website's 14th birthday. It's hard to think it's been going 14 years and I myself have been here for 9. While much has changed in those 14 years (remember when we used to drool over Ocarina of Time's graphics?) and Nintendo have gone through numerous up and downs our passion for Nintendo has not feigned and it is why we're still here.
Since our last anniversary we've had new staff that have helped to inject life into the site and unfortunately some people have left us. My own input has diminished recently due to personal and professional reasons but I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for their input and for you, our readers, for your constant support.
Both of the founders left the site a number of years ago but the fact N-Europe is still here remains a testament to the staff, both past and present, and to our readers because without them we'd have no reason to be here. I've had the pleasure to work with some fantastic people and I hope to continue to do so for some time to come.
There's lots of exciting things coming up for N-Europe. We've had a few problems over the year but we can assure you great things are coming. To that affect I apologise for the fact the comments system has had to be temporarily removed but we promise it will return soon. However, be sure to check our forum where you can chat with many of our wonderful members. You can also check out our special celebratory signatures made by our graphics team member Fresh.
From myself and the rest of the staff I'd like to say thank you for reading N-Europe and hope you will continue to do so for years to come.
