Solatorobo sequel in development

Some surprising news to start the week off, with the president of Japanese studio CyberConnect2 Hiroshi Matsuyama confirming at a Spanish event that the company is working on a follow-up to its niche 2010 RPG Solatorobo: Red the Hunter.
Solatorobo came to Europe last year on DS courtesy of Nintendo, although as its concept - a colourful, light-RPG with a cast of furries and a focus on exploring - might have suggested, the game was met with only a moderate commercial response.
Despite that, we actually rather enjoyed it.
Solatorobo was considered by CyberConnect2, who also develops the .hack// games and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja, as a spiritual sequel to PS1 RPG Tail Concerto, so it's not known whether this game will be a straight sequel or another spiritual successor. No platforms or release window have yet been revealed.
