The new trailer for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed focuses on the Wii U version of the game and shows off some of the great features the GamePad brings to the table. Exclusive features include local 5-player multiplayer, a rear-view display, item display and obligatory map, all made possible using the GamePad.

If you were a big fan of the controls in the original, you'll be glad to know that the GamePad also offers motion controls as well as the option to play using only the GamePad.

Perhaps the most exciting exclusive feature though, is the promise of Wii U multiplayer modes. The one shown in the trailer shows a set of SEGA racers hurriedly driving away from a GamePad controlled AiAi going crazy in his ball.
