Sonic Forces is coming to Nintendo Switch this fall, check out the new trailer below. 

From the creators of Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors (the good Sonic entries!), Sonic Team are back with Sonic Forces! Did we mention Sonic?

This time you'll be able to create your own Sonic character, which I'm sure is a Tumblr/Newgrounds dream. Once your horrific and questionable 'hog has been created, it's up to you to zoom through many colourful worlds, with a mixture of 2D and 3D gameplay similar to Generations, in a bid to thwart Dr Eggman and his cronies. 

Modern and classic Sonic are back for the ride and you'll also have classic friends cheering you on along your journey. Fan favourites such as Cream and complete morons such as Vector will be chatting and giving you advice as you play through each level. 

Shadow has finally made his way back to the dark side after a few years of running side by side with our beloved threesome. His angst is back in full swing as he is joined by Zavok of Lost World fame and an all new cube-wielding fellow who wishes he had the psychic powers of 2006's beloved Silver.
