Following on from yesterday's news that Project Sonic 2017 is now known as Sonic Forces, the other upcoming Sonic game - Sonic Mania - has been delayed until the Summer.

Originally scheduled for the Spring, the 2D Sonic title will instead launch a little later in the year to give the game some more polish.  There's currently no specific release date for Sonic Mania.

While it is a shame we'll have to wait a bit longer for one of the most anticipated Sonic games for some time, we can get a glimpse of the newly anounced Flying Battery Zone in the gameplay video below.
