Nintendo of Europe continues to spoil us, with the news that two special edition 3DS XL consoles will be heading to our shores next month.
First, a Luigi-themed 3DS XL will launch on November 1st and will be available to buy exclusively from Nintendo's recently launched official online store. It rounds of a sterling year for the younger Mario brother, who has taken centre-stage in Luigi's Mansion 2, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros., and New Super Luigi U. If only every year can be the Year of Luigi.
A few weeks later, Nintendo will celebrate the release of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds by releasing a sumptuous Triforce-emblazoned 3DS XL. The package will release on November 22nd and come with a download code for the game. A Link Between Worlds is a straight follow-up to the fan-favourite 1992 classic A Link to the Past.
