The single player rougelike DLC arrives in Splatoon 3 next week, on February 22nd! To get us in the mood, Nintendo have released an overview trailer, so you can get a glimpse of what to expect from next week:

As Agent 8, ride the elevator one floor at a time as you ascend the Spire of Order. The objective you select on each floor determines the difficulty level and the color chips you receive, so choose wisely!

Color chips can be used to upgrade power, range, mobility, Pearl Drone's capabilities and more. Focus on fewer colours to boost your best tactics, or experiment with a mixed Palette – the choice is yours:

Challenge yourself in a new single-player campaign that's designed to be replayed over and over again! As Agent 8, you must defeat wave after wave of enemies to ascend the ominous Spire of Order, accompanied by the drone…Pearl?

Part 1 of the Expansion Pass was made available last year, and tickled those nostalgic bones as it gave players the chance to re-live the glory days of the Wii U:

Make Inkopolis from the original Splatoon on Wii U your stomping grounds. The Squid Sisters are also here to make Splatfests even fresher! Products offered here are the same as in Splatsville, so you can shop in either city. Modes and amiibo functionality all work in the same way, too.
