Star Fox Zero has been confirmed to release in Europe on April 22nd.
With a similar structure and feel to the 64 game, but with new maps and a new plot, Star Fox Zero borrows heavily from the action-packed nature of the 64 title but adds new features.
Teleporters will play a big role in this new title, taking you to other areas, as will branching paths - If you branch off the beaten path and go an alternate route on a level, once you've beaten the boss, you'll return to the map-screen and find an alternate route unlocked.
Star Wolf and his crafty team re-appear in this title and will be sure to wreak havoc when you least expect it.
Two Player Mode
A new two player mode was revealed. Two friends team up to try and get the highest score, with one person flying the Arwing with the Pro Controller and the other shooting down foes with the GamePad.
The Smash Bros. Fox amiibo will also be compaible. Scan him into the title and you'll unlock the SNES version of the Arwing!
Star Fox Guard
Slippy takes control of 12 TV Screens in this new title, which releases alongside Zero on the same day, as the new version of Project Guard. Flip between TV's to find and defeat enemies. Bonus modes include putting enemies in places yourself and uploading your levels online.
Star Fox Guard will be available on the eShop or as a bundle on first print releases of Star Fox Zero!
