Nintendo have shown the first trailer for Star Fox Zero during today's E3 Digital Event. The game will be in our hands by Christmas, launching in the fourth quarter of 2015.
The game will feature gyroscope aiming with the GamePad and free changing of vehicles from the traditional Arwing and Landmaster vehicles to the new Gyrowing and more. The GamePad and TV screen will feature different perspectives, allowing you to aim one way while moving another. Nintendo promise that this will allow for a more cinematic experience.
Each level will allow you to take different paths depending on which vehicle you use, increasing the replay value of the main campaign. Some fans may be disappoint to hear that online multiplayer is currently not planned for Star Fox Zero, but there will be a two player mode, details of which haven't yet been revealed.
Star Fox Zero is being developed in partnership with Platinum Games, whose head honcho Hideki Kamiya had previously expressed an interest in having a go at the series if Nintendo allowed.
