Swedish indie studio Image & Form has unveiled its next title following the critically acclaimed SteamWorld Dig.

SteamWorld Heist, however, is far from a direct follow-up to the Metroidvania-style platformer. Instead, will be a space adventure game, incorporating exploration, turn-based combat and rougelike elements. Check out the first teaser below.

SteamWorld Dig released originally for Nintendo 3DS in 2013, and quietly developed a cult following thanks to its tight gameplay and charmingly realised steampunk world. It later spread out onto other platforms including Wii U.

SteamWorld Heist will release sometime in spring 2015, on platforms including 3DS and Wii U.
