Even though Streets of Rage 4 won't be launching until 2020, the level of anticipation for the title couldn't be higher and understandably so given the exceptional reputation of the original trilogy which launched on the Sega Mega Drive over two decades ago.

If you grew up playing this classic series of Beat 'em Up's back in the day or even if you happen to have played any of the games across the many Sega compilations over the years including most recent Mega Drive collection on the Switch, then chances are you will have fallen for just how engaging these classic games are even today.

Dotemu certainly realise the gravity of the task which has been taken on by them in conjunction with Lizard Cube and Guard Crush games, not to mention the involvement of Sega and Yuzo Koshiro was was the original composer for the series largely responsible for nailing the atmosphere of the game with his timeless compositions in addition to developing the original games as well; no pressure then.
