This weekend another Splatfest is happening in Splatoon 2, and it is a cross-over with Mario to celebrate his 35th anniversary. The teams this time are Super Mushroom vs. Super Star. If you have not made your pick yet, you can head into the game and choose your side.

There is even more incentive to play, as the top 100 players of each team will receive a special medal commemorating the Splatfest. The Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Splatfest runs from January 15th 10pm UK/11pm CET to January 17th 10pm UK/11pm CET.

If you want to show your love for Splatoon, your Splatfest pick or Super Mario outside of the game, then you can still head over to the My Nintendo Store and pick up one of the celebratory t-shirts.
