Super Mario Run may increase in price in UK due to currency issues

Super Mario Run could be set for a price rise in the UK as Apple has increased their standard UK pricing following currency fluctuations caussed, in large part, by the market instability following the EU Referendum last June.
Apple has announced that standard pricing will go up, meaning an app that cost 79p before will now cost 99p. Pricing across the board for apps and in-app purchases are due to become the same as their US equivilant (i.e. a $0.99 app now costs £0.99).
As part of this, it will mean the cost of upgrading Super Mario Run to the full version would be £9.99 rather than £7.99 that it currently is. Nintendo could choose to take a hit on their margins and keep the price as it is, but Nintendo has yet to make a statement. We will of course keep you updated with any developments.
The new pricing structure is due to take effect in the next seven days, so if you've been on the fence it is best you buy now in case it does go up.
Pricing changes are also taking place in India and Turkey.
