Super Smash Brothers for the Nintendo Switch has been outrageously teased at the end of the latest Nintendo Direct.

Following on from the Splatoon 2 DLC reveals, everyone's favourite Inklings were seen sploshing about before turning to see the burning Smash symbol approaching.

This means we will see Splatoon Inklings in Smash for the first time, yet little else was shown apart from a 2018 date stamp, so presumably we will see the game this year.

Chances are this will be the game Nintendo focusses on at e3 this year, and may well be used to kick start the Switch's paid online service in September, watch this space!
