Whip out that old green tunic and clean out your rusty Ocarina as it is time to once more revel in the magnificence of the Zelda series. Following on from the success of the 25th Anniversary Symphony, Jason Michael Paul Productions are proud to present "The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses".
The tour has already impressed thousands of eager Zelda fans in North America and is now making its way to Europe, set to debut on May 23rd at the Hammersmith Apollo.
Performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, the tour features live orchestral performances of music from many of the series games including Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, A Link to the Past and Twilight Princess.
Jason Michael Paul, CEO of Jason Michael Paul Productions, which is producing the concert tour, said that the program offers an "extraordinary glimpse into the spellbinding world of Zelda".
"The response in 2011 for The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony was unparalleled, so it's exciting to return with a brand new experience for both loyal and new fans. This concert program is an extraordinary glimpse into the spellbinding world of Zelda through the lens of world-class orchestral music. We are honoured to bring this unique experience to this great city."
Eimear Noone will conduct the full orchestra with arrangements by music director Ched Seiter and the evening shall be hosted by concert producer and lead creative Jeron Moore. The orchestral score has been approved by Nintendo sound director and Zelda franchise composer Koji Kondo.
