Nintendo have revealed via their Twitter/X accounts that the latest Tetris 99 event, or indeed, MAXIMUS CUP, will start this Friday, with an F-Zero 99 theme!

The Tetris99 41st MAXIMUS CUP event will run from 28/6 at 12:00am PT to 1/7 at 11:59pm PT!

Once you’ve accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music, and Tetrimino designs inspired by F-ZERO 99!

The event starts this Friday, June 28th and ends on Monday July 1st, so get dropping those Tetris blocks this weekend!
