Developers of 3DS eShop classic VVVVV and Cave Story, Nicalis, are back once more to provide gamers with another dose of classic gaming with a modern twist along with Greek developer Antonis Pelekanos.

Pelekanos used Kickstarter to fund the project and has already made more than the target amount, $10,000, to produce the game. 

The title is set to retain all of the charm, excitement and colour of 90's arcade racers such as SEGA Rally and Daytona USA whilst injecting them with modern technology. 

Writing on the game's Kickstarter page, Pelekanos said that his goal is to maintain the "colourful,  vibrant look and sense of speed but with modern visuals and car handling models."
