It has been a long wait for eager Zelda fans but it's finally over as Hyrule Historia is now available in the US and Europe.
The fantastic book is a celebration of the entire Zelda series and features all sorts of great content such as the official time line, an introduction from Shigeru Miyamoto and all sorts of concept art, comics by the Legend of Zelda manga creator and masses of history on the wonderful land of Hyrule.
It seems it has released with a bang, too. Hyrule Historia quickly climbed to the top of Amazon.com's best selling books. It's not quite the same in the UK, but still creeps in at a respectable number 24.
ONM unearthed some particularly interesting concept art from The Wind Waker, where you can see Link sat on an island that didn't make the final game, a GameCube island. Not only that, but there is also concept art for 'Stovepipe Island', a more fleshed out island that didn't make the final game. Maybe we can hope for a return in Wind Waker HD?
Hyrule Historia is crammed with even more intriguing information about the entire Zelda series, as well as a few wise words from series creator himself, Shigeru Miyamoto.
