The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time heading to Virtual Console

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will release on the Wii U eShop this coming Thursday, Nintendo has announced.

The 1998 classic - regarded by many as still the best game of all time - is a rare N64 addition to the Wii U Virtual Console.

It regained some prominence when Nintendo released a full remake of the game for 3DS in 2011. Anyone who tried that may be curious to experience the adventure in its original form.

And don't forget that anyone who bought the game on the Wii Virtual Console, and transfered their Wii data to Wii U, can claim the game at a heavily discounted price.
