The Legend of Zelda still on track for Wii U

The Legend of Zelda is still very much in development for Wii U, Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed after Nintendo's Digital Event.
Nintendo had said that the game would not be making an appearance at E3, but the lack of any mention during the Digital Event nonetheless led some to question its fate.
With speculation about whether the game might have been moved on to Nintendo's next-generation system, Miyamoto told IGN that "Zelda is still coming to Wii U".
He added that Nintendo's focus was on games on the immediate horizon, like Star Fox, and with Zelda delayed into 2016, its day would have to wait.
We did, however, get a brand new Zelda game today, in the form of the multiplayer 3DS adventure The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes.
