Another new trailer for the Super Mario Bros. Movie has landed, this time featuring the vocal talents of Seth Rogan.

Up until this point, whilst we have known Seth Rogan will be the voice of DK, we have yet to hear it in action. In this 30 second trailer, intended as a TV spot, we see DK square up against Mario, who is donning his famous Super Mario 3D World cat suit.

As DK prepares to kick some tail, he utters his first words on the big screen. What do you make of Donkey Kong’s first vocal appearance, and how does it match up to Chris Pratt’s Mario?

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is on track to release in cinemas across the UK on April 7th.  

From Nintendo and Illumination comes a new animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros. Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (collaborators on Teen Titans Go!, Teen Titans Go! To the Movies) from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, Minions: The Rise of Gru), the film stars Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.
