The Witcher III update adds cross-play and graphics options

Developer Saber Interactive (who handles the Switch port of CD Projekt RED's The Witcher III: Wild Hunt) has released a major update for the Switch version of the game. A bunch of new features are part of this update.

Cross-saves are supported between the Nintendo Switch and PC version of the game, meaning players can switch between both versions and continue their adventure and share the progress. You can carry over your saves from either the Steam or GOG version of The Witcher III on PC.

Also new are a bunch of graphics options, where you can tweak more to give the game the graphics/performance ratio you want it to have. For example, you can adjust the sharpness of the graphics.

The update is currently being rolled out and is already available in Europe according to different player reports on social media. In the tweet below (in Dutch) you can see the new options in the menu of the Switch version.
