With one Nintendo Direct having just finished, the next is already almost upon us, with the announcement that The Wonderful 101 will finally be getting its own Direct broadcast this Friday.

The Nintendo-published game is the first Wii U title by fan-favourite studio Platinum Games. Not only that, it is the brainchild of Resident Evil 2, Viewtiful Joe, and Okami creator Hideki Kamiya.

No word on whether Kamiya-san will make an appearance in bright-red spandex, but it will certainly be worth checking out. The Direct will air on Friday at 3pm BST / 4pm CEST at the usual link.
