Thinking of buying an import Gamecube?

Lik Sang is an gaming import-specialist, based in the Chinese province of Hong Kong. It offers its customers many import games and systems (including Gamecube hardware and software) at very reasonable prices. I was considering buying a modified Gamecube and software until I read their 'Terms and Conditions.' They state that any products which are sold cannot be returned to them if the buyer is not satisfied, or more alarmingly if after ten days the product ceases to work properly.
The terms and conditions do not only cover software, but hardware (such as consoles etc) also. So what can you do if your beloved Gamecube stops working properly after that ten day period? Nothing. You'd just have to start saving for your next one. All Lik Sang terms and conditions conform to Hong Kong law, and I must say that they offer a very good service to import buyers - I know a few people who have purchased from them and they did say that Lik Sang was very professional. Please note that Lik-Sang are not alone in using this policy. Many import specialists in the UK share these terms, I have used Lik Sang simply as an example.
Ok, so it's a small risk to take. You either take the risk, or end up paying over the odds from your local import specialist (check their terms and conditions). Alternatively you could try ebay.com, or wait until the Gamecube launches over here . . .
