This week's hot new trailers

With 300 hours of video uploaded to YouTube each minute, it can be hard to keep track of new trailers so we thought we'd do the leg work for you.  We have rounded up some new trailers from this week that you should check out.

New game of the week - Stardew Valley

We're already breaking our rules already and showing a trailer that wasn't published this week, but with the launch of Stardew Valley on Thursday we just had to give it some love.

For those that don't know, Stardew Valley is a farming simulator that became huge when it was released early last year and now it is finally on the Switch.  Made by just one person (Eric "ConcernedApe" Braone), this title allows you to farm, raise livestock, mine and romance others.  Anyone that has played a Harvest Moon title will know just what to expect.

Super Mario Odyssey

Nintendo's mascot finally makes his debut on the Switch later this month and Nintendo has released a brand new trailer showing off some of the kingdoms the game will offer, detailed explanation about what Cappy can do for you and information about the Odyssey ship that the game is named after.

Of course there are minor story and location spoilers in the video below, so watch with caution if you're looking to remain unspoiled.

Layton's Mystery Journey

The Layton series may not get as much buzz as it used to, but it is still a hugely successful and popular series and it is back on the Nintendo 3DS. Katrielle "Kat" Layton is the star of this title, which as always promises many puzzles to get your brain working.  The trailer features the gorgeous animation the series is known for.  Layton's Mystery Journey is available to purchase now.

Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!

A new trailer for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was released this week, which we covered earlier, but as well as this a trailer for the brand new animated film that loosely retells the first episode of the anime dropped this week.  The film will be released in selected cinemas next month, with more details available here.

Crazy Justice

The Switch is a bit low on First Person Shooters, so fans of the genre will be happy to hear that Crazy Justice promises an array of characters, destructible locations and much more.  Check out the announcement trailer below.

Projection First Light

This newly announced title features a unique art style that reminds us of the popular indie title Limbo.  Featuring shadow-puppet charters and some intriguing gameplay elements, Project First Light could be one to keep an eye on.

Sumikko Gurashi

We admit it, Sumikko Gurashi is unlikely to be released in Europe but look how cute and Japanese it all looks!  This party game looks like an even more child-friendly version of Mario Party with its rotund characters and soft pastel colours.

Never Stop Sneakin'

This newly announced stealth game has you trying to hunt down all the presidents from throughout time that have been kidnapped but don't worry, you have Vice President Helicopter to help you (yes, it's a helicopter).  With a Bondesque theme song and  tongue-in-cheek dialogue, this game from Humble Hearts could be a good mix of stealth and humour.
