Three new 3DS XL designs on the way to Japan!

Japan is set to get another bunch of (predictably) exclusive 3DS XL consoles: Two new special editions and a new colour.

This brings the total amount of different designs for 3DS to 35. When will you start sharing those with Europe, Nintendo?

So, first up is the marvellous special edition handheld for Disney Magic Castle: My Happy Life (pictured right), which is set to arrive on 3DS in July. This white 3DS XL is emblazoned with the Disney Magic Castle logo and lots of gold and white Micky Mouse silhouettes, a 3DS which is sure to make any avid Disney fan weak at the knees.

Next up is a 3DS that we're particularly jealous of because it's in celebration of the release of Tomadachi Collection.

Tomadachi Collection has yet to be confirmed for Europe and sadly, will most likely not see a release. It's a great shame as the title looks like great fun as you and your friend's Miis live in an apartment together and get up to all kinds of mischief.

Remember that time Mii and Iwata got the chick and the duck? Or that time we rented Die Hard from the video store for the tenth time? Of course you don't because it's not in Europe, and clearly we don't know much about the actual gameplay.

Finally is the new colour set to hit Japan, Mint and White. The new 3DS looks very fresh and is a seemingly perfect colour combination for the arrival of Spring. This little beauty is set to hit Japan on April 18th.
