Three new Switch game announcements

In the last two days, a number of new games have been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch. It is difficult to say if these are standalone announcements, or would have been part of the delayed Nintendo Direct that originally would have aired Wednesday evening. Nonetheless they are all great additions to the evergrowing library.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is bringing the magic to the Switch with LEGO Harry Potter Collection. The game combines the content of LEGO Harry Potter years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter years 5-7, covering all 7 books or all 8 movies. Two DLC packs are included as well. LEGO Harry Potter Collection launches on the Switch on October 30!

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD lets you experience the story of Final Fantasy XV in a simplified version and with a different artstyle. Originally the Pocket Version of the game came out on the mobile platforms where individual chapters need to be bought in an episodic style. the Pocket Edition HD that is coming to the Switch will include all chapters in one package though. An exact release date is yet to be confirmed.

With Sid Meier's Civilization VI 2K Games is bringing the latest instalment in the highly acclaimed Civilization to the Nintendo Switch. Expect a deep strategy games, where you lead your civilization from the dark ages to the modern times, trumping the rest. the Switch version already includes four DLC packs. You can start building your empire on November 16!
