It has been confirmed that acclaimed Japanese studio Treasure is developing a new title exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.

No details were divulged, other than that the game will be an action title.

Treasure has a long history of cult shoot 'em ups, creating the Nintendo-exclusive Sin & Punishment games, as well as Gunstar Heroes and Ikaruga. More recently, the developer released HD versions of three of its titles: Bangai-O, Radiant Silvergun, and Guardian Heroes.
