EA's devastating blow last week had left a few gamers concerned for the future of Wii U and the third-party support it may receive, but Ubisoft are keen to ensure us that they are still strong believers in Nintendo's new system.
After very strong support from Ubisoft so far with titles such as ZombiU, and Rayman still to come, Ubisoft have confirmed that they are still committed to the console and believe it just needs more time to grow.
A Ubisoft spokesperson said that more big titles are on the way, including the likes of Rayman and Watch Dogs.
"As with any new console, it takes some time to grow an established base. Ubisoft has a varied and high-quality line-up for Wii U, with more big titles on the way including Rayman Legends, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag and Splinter Cell Blacklist.
We're confident that this will help in continuing to attract gamers to the Wii U system and that Nintendo will take steps to ensure that the Wii U is successful in the market."
With the success of ZombiU, party titles such as Just Dance and free offerings in the form of the Rayman Challenges App, are Ubisoft quickly becoming the Wii U's strongest third-party offering?
