The Nintendo Wii finally launched in Europe on the 8th of December 2006.

To mark the occassion N-Europe's Franklin Hughes takes his camera with him to do a report on his day getting the Wii.

From the joys of actually getting the console (and Zelda Twilight Princess) to a small bit of anger and frustration at the shortage of supply of both WiiPlay and extra Wiimotes.

But all in all a great day indeed.
