The final bit of news from this evening's Nintendo Direct had Satoru Shibata carry the torch for a pair of third-party localised 3DS titles.

We already knew that UK-based publisher Ghostlight had plans to publish a pair of Shin Megami Tensei games in Europe, but we finally got a bit of solid confirmation on the first of those. Shin Megami Tensei: Deviil Survivor Overclocked (an enhanced, 3DS version of the DS Devil Survivor game) is still on track to release this year. No more information on Devil Survivor 2 for Nintendo DS just yet though.

Secondly, Rising Star Games comes to our resuce once again, this time with a sequel to a cult DS game that never got released in Europe. Virtue's Last Reward is a sequel to the visual novel-cum-adventure title 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, and will be launching in Europe in November. The European release features no English dub, instead opting to retain Chunsoft's original Japanese voices.
