Ubisoft has announced that its much-anticipated open-world title Watch Dogs has been delayed until 2014.

The game was due to release this November on current and next-generation platforms, including Wii U. Now, all versions will presumably be released at the same time some time next year.

The game, which many considered to be the highlight of E3 2012 when it was first revealed, is an open-world action-adventure title, similar to Ubisoft's other signature franchise Assassin's Creed. However, the key gameplay hook of Watch Dogs is in it allowing the player to hack into electronic devices all across the city of Chicago.
