If you missed last night's Super Smash Bros. themed Nintendo Direct (or just want to watch it again), fear not, because you can watch it in full below.

The 35-minute broadcast showed us over 50 must-see things in the game, with some returning features and modes from previous entries and plenty of new surprises.

Some of the headline announcements included 8-player battles, a forthcoming Miiverse-inspired stage, a Wii U exclsuive mode called Smash Tour, and the confirmation of the first downloadable character - which will be available for free to those who own both versions of the game.
