The latest Nintendo Direct broadcast has just finished, bringing a timely update of new treats for Ninty fans.

It was all about the software in this show, with both forthcoming and already-released games getting cool new announcements. Headlines included a brand new challenger in Super Smash Bros (no, not Mewtwo!), DLC for Mario Kart 8 which will bring in a super-speedy 200cc mode, Splatoon amiibo, N64 and DS games on Virtual Console, and the debut appearance of the long-awaited Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem crossover - first announced in Janaury 2013!
