Hit indie studio WayForward Technologies has revealed its next major project, and platformer fans will be pleased to learn that it is another new entry in the cult side-scrolling Shantae series.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero will release on Wii U, as well as other home consoles and PC, if the studio's Kickstarter page that it just launched manages to rack up $400,000 in pledges within a month. Further stretch goals will mean the game could end up with extra content, but the game will definitely launch on all planned platforms so long as the initial $400K goal is reached.

WayForward Technologies has also been busy lately with the recent release of Ducktales Remastered on Wii U.
