Wii U priced and dated in Japan!

After a long wait Nintendo has confirmed the Japanese release information for the Wii U.
The console will be available in Japanese shops from December 8th and come in two varities: a premium version at 31,500 Yen (€314/£251) and a basic version at 26,500 Yen (€265/£212).
Both versions will launch at the same time, with the main difference being the amount of memory available. The basic version contains 8GB of memory to store your games on, while the premium version contains 32GB of memory.
Both bundles will include a Wii U console, GamePad, AC Adapter, GamePad AC Adapater and a HDMI cable. The premium version will also include a console stand and a GamePad charging stand.
Gamers that purchase the premium model will also get a two year Nintendo Network Premium pass. This service, announced today, will allow gamers to get a 10% discount on downloadable software.
It is not currently known if there are any other perks, such as with the similar PlayStation service, but expect more information shortly.
Satoru Iwata also confirmed the Japanese pricing of games and accessories during this morning's Nintendo Direct conference.
New. Super Mario Bros. U is set to be priced at 5,985 Yen (€60/£48) while NintendoLand will be 4,935 Yen (€49/£40), confirming that in Japan NintendoLand will not come bundled with the console.
The Wii U Controller Pro will cost Japanese gamers 5,040 Yen (€50/£40), while the GamePad Stand is priced at 315 Yen (€3/£2.50). A second GamePad can also be purchased separately for a hefty 13,440 Yen (€134/£107).
