Wii U processing speed is lower than 360 and PS3 says Harada

Pretty much every person on the internet (yes, even you) has tried to guess just how powerful the Wii U may be but as is the trend just lately, Nintendo have remainded tight lipped on the exact specifications. But it seems if Katsuhiro Harada, producer of the Tekken series, is anything to go by then the Wii U processing speed is low compared to current generation offerings from Sony and Microsoft.
When asked how development of the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was coming along for Wii U, Harada stated that the Wii U processor requires some 'creative' solutions and compared to PS3 and 360, the CPU is "maybe a little bit [lower]".
"As far as graphical processing and such, it's not much of an issue. But as far as CPU goes, the clock is kinda low. I guess they're trying to keep power consumption down so we have to come up with creative ways to get around that and that's taking a little bit of time."
Despite this, Harada said that progress of the Wii U version is "coming along quite rapidly" and that it isn't far behind the 360 and PS3 versions. Because the Wii U launch date has not yet been announced, Harada can't confirm the release date for the Wii U version of the game but hopes that it can release as close as possible to the other versions.
